About Foremesh

Why Foremesh is being built.

Foremesh began with a practical sales problem: valuable project intelligence exists publicly, but it is fragmented, time-consuming to monitor and difficult to turn into a focused commercial action plan. The product is being developed to help project-driven salespeople move earlier, understand a broader field of potential participants and avoid concentrating attention only after the opportunity becomes obvious.

The problem behind the product.

Anyone who has sold into project-driven markets knows the pattern. A project gets announced, a tender goes out, and suddenly every competitor is calling the same contacts at the same time. The conversation shifts immediately to price because the relationship work was never done.

The intelligence to act earlier exists. Planning approvals, government notices, contract awards, company announcements, tender portals and trade publications all carry signals. The problem is that monitoring them consistently, connecting them to the right companies and turning them into a focused call plan is genuinely difficult for a busy salesperson.

Foremesh is being built to close that gap — not by replacing the salesperson's judgement, but by giving them better structured information to act on.

How we are approaching it.

Three principles guide how Foremesh is being designed.

1

Evidence before assertion

Every signal should be traceable to a source. Users should be able to see where information came from and decide for themselves whether it is credible.

2

Inference with explanation

Where Foremesh suggests a likely participant or demand category, it should show the reasoning — comparable projects, historical participation, geography, capability — not just a score.

3

Relevance over volume

A platform that generates hundreds of alerts is not useful. Foremesh is being designed to prioritise signals that connect to the user's actual customers, prospects and market.

Built for Australian project markets.

The initial focus is on Australian project-driven industries: civil construction, infrastructure, engineering, resources and energy, industrial services, and the broad range of B2B suppliers — from steel and concrete to telecommunications and professional services — whose demand is created by projects rather than recurring orders.

Australian public procurement, planning and contract data is well-structured and publicly accessible. That makes it a practical starting point for building a product that is genuinely useful rather than theoretically comprehensive.

The longer-term intention is to expand coverage as the product matures and as user feedback shapes what matters most.

What guides the product.

Independent

Foremesh is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with, commissioned by or endorsed by any supplier, contractor or industry body.

Transparent

The product should never present an inferred result as a confirmed fact. Users deserve to understand what they are seeing and why.

Practical

Intelligence that cannot be turned into a commercial action is not useful. Every feature should connect to something a salesperson can actually do.

Focused

Foremesh is not trying to be a CRM, a news feed or a general business intelligence platform. It is a focused sales-intelligence product for project-driven markets.

Where we are now.

Foremesh is currently under active development. We are in early conversations with salespeople, sales leaders and project-focused businesses to validate the workflows, source coverage and problems the product should solve first.

Get involved.

If you work in a project-driven industry and want earlier visibility into upcoming work, we would like to hear from you. Early conversations help validate the product and shape what gets built first.
